Yes! I'm happy to say that Friendly Favours v1.0 has been launched! I completed this VN on May 1st, it was already playable from start to finish, in every route. But, I was not ready to launch it yet as it's not as polished as I wanted it to. The artworks had no shading, and the interface was the same boring unmodified Renpy demo-interface, and the main menu has no picture.

But after a little over a week later, I was finally ready to release it. Compared to other established VNs, I realize it is not good. But as a solo beginner, I'm quite happy with the results, because I learned a lot from it.

However, please take note that this is my first VN. I always regard it, first and foremost, as a learning experience and a rite of passage. Its development is a way for me to test myself that I can finish a VN, and to learn the workflow of developing one in all 3 aspects: art, writing and Renpy programming.

I will spend at least one month to polish this work further, especially if there's any feedback that give me clearer things to work on, that I otherwise cannot notice by myself. I will be posting more post-mortem and development notes in the upcoming weeks, about art, Renpy, and writing! It's crazy, over a year ago I didn't even think I'd actually finish a VN, but here we are!

I have so much to talk about this passion project! But for now, please feel free to try my first VN and I hope you'll like it!
